Well I've been super busy!! I'm really excited about these latest flowers. Some I'm tempted to keep for myself!!! Onwards to the photos :)

Newest Kasudama Flower Bouquet, will be selling them soon :) Thoughts are much appreciated!!








These are my newest "Metallic Collection". Their sticks are a metallic-type colour and feature 6 petals instead of 5 and have a matching Kasudama and Rose as well as little pearls in the middle (All Kasudama's come with some little bead/pearl type thing in the middle!). As always, thoughts are loved!

I'm working on making a Kasudama Ball and a Rose Ball. These are taking longer than expected but it'll be well worth it when they're done!


The small Kasudama Ball will be finished today so I'll be able to post photos later.

Another day, another 10 flowers :)

I've decided I'm going to take a picture of each flower I make and put them into a portfolio of sorts to show at the market (and post them all here of course!)

Rose Collection - just in time for Valentines!! They will be dressed up nice when I get around to buying the stuff :) More to come eventually!








Kasudama Collection - This was lots of fun playing with different paper! The top one reminds me of the Mad Hatter for some reason. The fourth one reminds me of ice-cream cones!















Now this one is special - it's something I'm trying out and I can't decide if I like it! It is made of photos (the only ones I could find around the house that could be cut up!!)

Welcome to Paper Petal's first blog!!

This is my first time blogging so I thought I'd share some of the process of making a bouquet!

Stems freshly made and painted:

All cut, folded and ready to put together:

All glued together & drying:

All put together, stem drying!

I've set a goal of 2 weeks to get my stall up and running. Experimenting with different stems has been fun too!

Still trying to decide on pricing - I think I will be charging $5 per flower in the rose bouquets but that's as far as I've gotten! Slack, I know.

Business cards have been ordered now too (hooray!).

I think I will only being do custom bouquets vs making some up and then trying to sell them. I'm just going to make a few to show what they can look like.
